If you are in currently employed in the plumbing trade, there are excellent job prospects for you in Australia at present. The trade of General Plumber is now included on Australia’s Migration Occupation in Demand List (MODL), which generally means that there is a shortage of plumbers across the whole of Australia.

Australia’s MODL (please see full list by clicking here) is reviewed every 6 months and takes account of existing and emerging skill shortages throughout the country.

Job prospects for skilled plumbers are excellent at the moment and we at Australian Migration Associates Ltd are currently handling applications for a number of clients who are qualified plumbers either with formal City & Guilds/NVQ qualifications or without any formal qualifications at all. Plumbers working in Australia are required to be registered or licensed with the State where they intend to work.
